These photos were taken in Ooty at the time
of the visit of the International leader of The Salvation Army to India.
General Arnold Brown visited India, and came
to see where all the children of Salvation Army Missionaries to India, Pakistan
and Sri Lanka were and have been educated for the previous 90 years or so.
I have music playing in the background of
this page if you wish to turn your speakers on, or use headphones.
The music is a Christian Chorus "I will
enter His gates" and is played by a Salvation Army Band.
Above and Below: Mr. Ingleby
talking to General Arnold Brown ( in grey uniform ) and Commissioner Arthur Hook
( International Secretary for the India Section of Salvation Army work ).
Below: Miss Homewood with
General Arnold Brown. Miss Homewood was a Salvationist, and a former student of
Hebron as her parents had been Salvation Army Missionaries in India also. Both
Miss Homewood and General Brown are also Canadians.
